Job Description

Macildowie Recruitment & RetentionSenior Marketing Analyst - Up to £45,000 - LeicesterMonday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm - Flexible Working AvailableMacildowie have partnered with a well-established organisation in Leicester to recruit a Senior Marketing Analyst.The key requirements are to be a proficient user of PowerBI and SQL and have at least 3 years commercial experience operating as a Data Analyst.Main Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain accuracy and integrity of all data contained within each client database.
  • Working alongside the marketing team to gather an understanding of the marketing process and measure the different stages of the process from campaign.
  • Monitor campaigns and report ROI data to senior marketing figures.
  • Identify trends and issues as well as creating purposeful MI and BI automated dashboards that help our clients business evaluate their clients marketing performance.
  • Creating new purposeful MI and BI marketing dashboards for the marketing division on a weekly, monthly basis using PowerBI or Tableau.
  • You will also be able to craft appropriate value-adding commentary helping our client identify gaps and explore.
  • Provide regular commentary and insight, ensuring all MI and BI produced tells a story and is easy for users to digest and access.
  • Using IBM Modeler to develop predictive models using business expertise to improve decision making.
  • Writing SQL queries and extracting SQL data, whilst working with data sets such as customer data and campaign data.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience operating as a Marketing Analyst/Data Analyst or in a similar position.
  • Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards with appropriate value-adding commentary.
  • Comfortable with SQL Management Studio including writing SQL queries.
  • IBM Modeler experience - Desirable.
  • An excellent user of PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Able to commute to the Leicester office once a week.
