Job Description

LEAD MARKETING ANALYST £60,000 - 70,000LEICESTER Use your analytics skills to transform the future of marketing in this new lead role!THE COMPANYA leading retailer is transforming their online digital offering. With such high demand online you would have access to large levels of data from app and web campaigns, the latest tech and the knowledge that your insights will have a direct impact on thegrowth and success of the wider organisation!THE ROLEAs the Lead Marketing Analyst your focus will be to build and develop the digital marketing strategy through analytics, specifically you will have to:

  • Use SQL (R/Python) to query data and work with large data sets to extract insights and work with senior stakeholders to build a successful digital marketing strategy
  • Identify areas for optimisation in the digital marketing process through clear analysis, focus on profit loss, targeted marketing and segmented analysis to improve marketing success
  • Provide insights into the customer, who they are and how best to engage with them!
  • Be able to test campaign performance and use your knowledge of digital marketing to help grow PPC, SEO and Affiliate marketing channels
YOUR SKILLSThe successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong SQL (R/Python) to query and code large data sets, being analytically minded and a passion for data led decisions
  • Experience analysing digital marketing data and understanding of the different digital marketing channels
  • Great communicator and able to convey complicated technical terms in digestible language
