Sytner Group have an opportunity for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our growing Information Security team. This role plays an instrumental part in defending Sytner Groups digital assets from cyber threats, as well as maintaining the availabilityand accessibility of our information systems.Your typical duties will include:* Helping to design and implement information security solutions* Responding to threat alerts from the SIEM and other security platforms* Helping to ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices (e.g. Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)* Dealing with colleague requests for access to data and assets* Analysing output from vulnerability management platforms and working to patch and remediate vulnerabilities* Finding and collating personal data requested by customers as part of subject access requests* Hunting for threats, vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations within the Sytner environment* Liaising with other teams to continuously improve Sytner Groups security posture* General tasks required as part of the day-to-day operation of the Information Security functionThis is a full-time position based at our head office in Leicester.We are looking for an individual with experience and a genuine passion for Information Security to join our small but expanding team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of general IT concepts as well as a specific focus on information security.Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills are a must.
