Senior Electrical Design Engineer Remote£50,000 - £60,000 + Training in HV renewables + Holidays (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays) + PensionDo you come from a Commerical Electrical Engineering background and are you looking to work within the fastest growing sector of Renewables on large, utility scale solar projectsAre you looking to progress technically as an electrical engineer, learning Solar PV specific CAD design software and working towards chartership statusOn offer is the opportunity to work for an engineering consultancy company working on utility scale solar PV and battery storage units with over 10 years experience in the industry. They work with some of the largest clientele in the industry, on a wide rangeof projects with a focus on high complexity, low volume design and technical support work. Not your run of the mill, cookie cutter projects. Their reputation in the industry has resulted in increased demand for their work, therefore looking to expand theirworkforce for continued growth.In this role youll be supporting the planning and design of utility scale solar PV and battery storage units. Working on CAD packages such as Helios 3D and PVsyst. Your responsibilities will include, the production of detailed electrical designs, surveys,studies, schedules, schematics and liaising with Distribution Network Operators during submission of applications.The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical design projects, looking to get into the High voltage renewables industry, or already have experience in the industry.
