An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our existing professional team of Clinical Coding staff at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, which is the 4th largest acute Trust in the country.As a result of Covid, our coders now work approximately 50% on site and 50% remotely (working from home) to ensure social distancing and a safe working environment.If you’re looking to further your Clinical Coding Career progression in Leicestershire we are now seeking experienced coders who have achieved the National Accredited Clinical Coding qualification. As our Clinical Coding Team is expanding, this will be an exciting opportunity to progress your career.You will have good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. You must have 3 years hospital experience using ICD 10 & OPCS and have attained the NCCQ.We are seeking people who will support our drive for continual improvement and who will be proud to contribute to exceptional coding standards.The Coding team has an increasingly high profile in this large Trust with integral support of many senior clinicians.
