Job Description

The Sytner IT Business Systems team focuses on the delivery of significant outcomes and value to the business via the creation of our internally built solutions, the configuration of 3rd party tools and platforms, automation routines and process improvementrecommendations.Recently the team has built a web platform that currently underpins our public website which will require ongoing refinements and feature improvements; therefore, our software engineering function will need to grow. This growth, as well as the additional requeststhe team will be facilitating from around the business, means more resource is required in our engineering function.Were therefore looking for a Scrum Master who will be responsible for:

  • Managing feature requests and project scoping / timelines
  • Coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
  • Coaching team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications from Sytner Group stakeholders
  • Work with Business Analysts to handle back-logs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help the teams implement changes effectively
  • To support and provide cover for our Software Delivery Manager
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Help build a productive environment where our software squads own the domains they represent and enjoy facilitating outcomes and value to the business.
Requirements and Skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Experience is working in a similar role as a Scrum or Delivery Manager
  • Knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, such as the definition of done, user stories and backlog refinement.
