Job Description

Sales & Service Commercial Engineer required. Our client who is a leading manufacturer of Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Extraction products, is looking for a Sales & Service Commercial Engineer to work across Midlands.Successful candidates must live within 40 miles of there office near Leicester.Successful candidates will be working partially on site and in the office. When out on site during the high season, candidates will provide technical support to clients and engineers while completing complex breakdowns and repairs on Commercial Gas & Oilheating systems. The main duty for this role will be assisting in the preparation of quotations in line with business requirements, ensuring correct selection based on technical experience and contracting of work with Division Heating Manager.Sales & Service Commercial Engineer Position Overview

  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations in line with business requirements, ensuring correct selection based on technical experience.
  • Surveys and sales of commercial gas and oil heating systems.
  • Carrying out breakdowns and repairs at customers premises during busy periods.
  • Carrying out annual services on customers central heating systems every year to ensure the system runs safely and effectively.
  • Supporting technical quality management in the delivery of high-quality installations and attend relevant accreditation requirements and site inspections.
  • Forecasting accurate monthly and job-based project revenue and gross profit and ensuring achievement of both financial and operational objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Sales & Service Commercial Engineer Position Requirements
  • 3 years experience in Sales of a commercial gas nature with experience in service and breakdowns as well.
  • Full UK valid driving licence is required as that involves a substantial amount of travel throughout the UK.
  • Gas Safe and Oil qualifications (CIGA1 and TPCP1/1A)
  • High level of experience within service, repair and maintenance on commercial boilers and heating appliances.
  • Must live within 40 miles of Leicester
Sales & Service Commercial Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £45k
  • Sales Commission bonus £5k per annum
