Sales Office ManagerNorth Leicester£28,000p.a.

The Company:ER Recruitment are currently working exclusively with our partner, based in North Leicester. Our client are a flourishing company who are centred around their consumer goods operation while keeping customer service at the heart of all they do.They are now seeking a Sales Office Manager to direct their team and pave the way for further sales growth.Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Office Manager:
  • One of the primary functions of this opportunity is to co-ordinate and equally distribute the workload of the 5 Sales Administrators ensuring timely completion of tasks, appraisals, holidays, disciplinary meetings and monitoring of sickness.
  • Produce and circulate daily sales reports to senior management to update on monthly targets, highlighting any potential shortfalls. Produce ad-hoc sales reports where requested.
  • Daily meetings with the Operations and Warehouse Managers to discuss workload and highlight any potential issues, large orders etc.
  • Upload bespoke customer price lists, discounts and promotions to the sales ordering system. Update monthly sales targets in ordering system.
  • Work with the export team to ensure checks are completed on customer orders and special instructions communicated to warehouse team. Produce export packing list, commercial invoices and all required paperwork to accompany shipment.
  • Prepare documentation to obtain relevant certificates and permits for overseas shipments.
  • Printing of orders and liaise with stock controller for availability. Confirming orders and raising invoices.
  • Monitor and update stock figures on 3rd party systems
  • Update company sales system to ensure customer details are accurate, including changes to discounts, sales reps and delivery instructions.
  • Customer complaints.
  • Monitor month end sales and work with the warehouse to ensure all required orders are picked - Turn on /off auto-invoicing.
  • Liaising with all necessary internal departments and customers to communicate key information
  • Prioritise workload to meet customer expectations
  • Identifying problems and raising these with appropriate colleagues
About You as the Sales Office Manager:
  • Management skills to lead a team of Sales Office staff.
  • Proficient in using computer packages, particularly Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Excellent communication skills as well as ability to work with others in a close manner
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service both externally and internally
  • Accurate reporting
  • Focused and attention to detail
  • A can do attitude
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Organised
