Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their established manufacturing company as a Sales Coordinator. The successful candidate will undertake administrative duties, swiftly and accurately processing customer orders, handling enquiries and resolvingin a timely manner. This position will suit someone who is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and able to manage various accounts.***This is a Temporary to Permanent Position***The Sales Coordinator Role;
  • Processing of all customer orders/schedules in line with company procedures and requirements
  • Raising of all necessary documentation including order acknowledgements and pro- forma’s
  • Amending orders/schedules where necessary.
  • Ensuring staff are aware of specific customer requirements related to customer orders/schedules
  • Ensuring enquires and complaints are dealt with in a competent manner
  • Ensuring customers are kept up to date - notifying customers of information that may conflict or delay their requirements
  • Proactively contacting non key accounts on a regular basis to establish any concerns or requirements that they may have
  • Ensuring that appropriate documentation is supplied to either the customer or internal staff such as pro-forma’s, acknowledgements confirming supply, etc.
  • Listening to customers requirements effectively and efficiently and where necessary implementing actions accordingly
  • Ensuring that all customer complaints are recorded, providing the necessary details in order to carry out the relevant corrective actions, preventative action, credit notes and sundry invoices, where applicable
  • Ensuring that all parts, which are being made obsolete, are monitored and dealt with in line with company procedures.
  • Making certain that all customer information is filed in a timely and precise manner
  • Providing administration support, where necessary, to the external sales team including samples and paperwork and taking of telephone calls.
  • Outbound telesales where needed
Our Ideal Sales Coordinator Candidate;
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build rapport with clients and colleagues with ease
  • Be a positive and self-motivated individual, and have the ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines whilst prioritising your own workload.
  • Knowledge in all IT packages, such as Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Must have a flexible working approach and willing to assist as and when the business demands, at times working overtime
  • Essential, must have previous experience in customer service
  • Negotiation skills would be an advantage
