A leading Ground Engineering and Remediation contractor are recruiting for an experienced Remediation Engineer to join their team and support a major site in Leicester.Applicants are expected to have a strong academic background, preferred qualifications include BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology. In addition to this, applicants must demonstrate site based experience relating to the management of earthworks and remediation site operationTypical duties:- Site based delivery of earthworks and remediation projects- Managing geotechnical and geochemical data sets- Supervising excavation of trial pits and soakaways- Schedule geotechnical testing, field and lab tests, data collection, results analysis- Liaising with clients and subcontractors- Managing subcontractors, drilling crews and client liaisonThe role will consist of a mixture of site and office work.
