Job Description

Reconciliation ClerkLEICESTER Salary £25-£28KOur client is a successful city centre business, seeking to recruit an additional person to join its finance team.Job description

  • Take full accountability to reconcile debtor ledger. There is a backlog and it needs full reconciliation to recover old debts
  • Produce weekly aged debtor report for discussion with the senior management
  • Excellent reconciliation skills is a must
  • Once old backlog is recovered, the focus will be to handle portfolio of current debtor ledger
  • Ability to work with non finance people to obtain PODs etc for reconciliation purpose
  • Good understanding of sales ledger and credit control function
  • Raise DR notes and CR notes as required
  • Escalate issues to account managers on a weekly basis where customers are disputing payments and obtain necessary documents to clear customer queries
  • Demonstrate good time management
  • Good Excel skills are key for this role
  • Desirable skills – Sage 200, MS Business Central 365
Hours 8.30 to 5.00Holidays 20 (rising to 25 with service) + statutory daysFree Parking
