Rail Engineering IQAAbout the Role:Were working with a large well known ITP who are looking for a qualified Internal Quality Assurer to join their team and contribute to ensuring high standards of education and professional development on one of their largest contracts.Youll be covering various standards from L2-L4 across Rail and Engineering.Its a full-time role. Hybrid working is available with regular travel to and from Leicester.Standards youll be covering include;* L2 Performing Engineering Operations (PEO)* L3 Rail Engineer Technician Knowledge (RETK)* BTEC L3 Diploma in Rail Engineering Technician Knowledge* L4 Rail Engineer Advanced Technician Knowledge (REATK)* L4 Rail Engineer Advanced Technician Competence (REATC)Salary is paying around £36,000 + travel expenses.Requirements:* Must already be a qualified assessor with experience across Engineering and/or Rail.* IQA award isnt necessary (although desirable) - Theyll pay for all your training.* Extensive experience as an assessor, consistently maintaining a Green Grade.* Strong occupational expertise aligned with assessment strategies.* Thorough understanding of internal and external verification standards.* Familiarity with core values and business practices in our industry.* Experience working on track or within depots would be hugely advantageous but not essentialResponsibilities:* Conducting quality assurance activities according to established strategies.* Developing and maintaining sampling plans based on risk assessment.* Providing timely and accurate feedback to team members.* Leading efforts to standardize assessments for consistency.* Mentoring and supporting assessment staff to maintain teaching and assessment standards.* Collaborating with line managers to create development plans.* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications and Skills:* General Certificates in Education.* Assessor and Verification Awards.* Industry experience within Rail is preferred but if you have either a Mechanical or Electrical background this can still be considered* Teacher/training qualifications preferred.* Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent.* Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and relevant IT packages.* Valid drivers license.* Be willing to conduct regular travel to and from their site in Leicester
