Work with us to create a safe and secure world, together.The roleThe difference our new Project Accountant will makeAs a Project Accountant, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary by being a part of a new business unit, within Cavendish Nuclear thats focusing on clean energy and more specifically, providing a financial service to projects and cost centres.Day to day, youll maintain systems, ledgers and financial records for specific business areas, providing analytical, technical or controlling support to a specific area of the company in accordance with Cavendish Nuclear and Group policies and procedures.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far. This role requires regular travel to Leicester, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.Essential Experience* Demonstrable experience as an Accountant with strong experience in a similar position.* Ideally, fully or part qualified but, not essential (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA).* Experience of project work. * Good business / process analysis skills.* Practical experience of dealing with senior management; as well as influencing and communicating at all levels.What we offerGenerous benefits including:* Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
