Job Description

Title: Programme Leader - Brickwork & PlasteringLocation: East MidlandsPay: £37,945 - £41,154 per annumDuration: 37 hours per week, permanentReed - Further Education are seeking a Programme Leader in Brickwork and Plastering for an FE College based in The East Midlands.An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Construction Department for a new or experienced highly motivated Programme Lead. Applicants are invited from an On-Site Construction (OSC) Brick background ideally able to deliver a selection of core subjectssuch as:

  • OSC Principles of Construction
  • OSC Construction of Cavity/Block Walls
  • OSC Construction of Solid Wall and Basic Arches
  • Health & Safety in Construction
The successful applicant will teach across a range of full time and part time programmes to students typically studying from Level 1 to Level 3 including Construction T-Level core content based on prior industrial/teaching experience.Applicants are therefore invited to apply who hold the following:
  • A relevant OSC Brick Level 3 qualification or equivalent and/or be able to demonstrate significant industrial experience in the Trowel/general OSC fields.
  • Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent) as a minimum.
