Job Description

Production Team LeaderLeicester22K-24The Person:Do you have previous experience managing a Production TeamHave you got a working knowledge of staff management and reportingThe ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Confident to liaise with other teams
  • Production Team Leader experience
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to lead a team confidently
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Stay calm under pressure and work methodically
The Role:You will oversee the production team, looking after a team of 6. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the team are working to the best of their abilities, to be able stay in control and ensure the correct orders are prioritised. You will work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm and occasional weekend work.Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure orders are prioritised and worked
  • Managing the team to ensure they work as efficiently as possible
  • Management of Quality control within the assembly function including problem solving and implementation
  • Manage and lead the people under your control in line with the company policies and standards
  • Report on production performance, improvements, and operational issues.
  • Identify issues or potential problems ahead of time and address these in a timely manner.
