Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading company and play a crucial role in meeting increasing production demand We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our clients dynamic operationsteam. They require an individual who can ensure a flexible and agile approach to delivering our products.Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and other departments to plan and monitor the movement of products through the production cycle.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to develop a schedule for manpower and monitor the timely completion of products.
  • Track and trace inventory of materials in process and finished products.
  • Work with relevant departments to expedite any delays that may occur.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure the on-time delivery of materials.
  • Observe production progress and revise planning when necessary due to manpower shortages, delayed receipt of material, or customer changes.
  • Attend production meetings and effectively communicate planning and production changes to contracts, engineering, materials, and other affected departments.
  • Identify and analyze problem areas such as shortages and delays, and recommend solutions to resolve them.
  • Produce comprehensive reports based on findings and performance of production.
  • Provide regular reports on production status and communicate any production issues to upper management.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Undertake any other related duties assigned by the line manager.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operations planning and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage complex production schedules.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
