Job Description

Payroll Administrator | Full Time | 3 Months Temporary | Hybrid Working | Salary up to £14phMacildowie are excited to be working with a leading company based in Leicester who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.They are looking for someone to start immediately or in a short notice for 3 month temporary role, with the possibility to being extended.The payroll administrator will be responsible for creating and maintaining employee payroll records. You will administer payroll changes and the monthly payroll submissions, supported by the Senior Payroll team.Details:

  • Primarily remote working with occasional office days
  • 3 months temporary role with possible extension
  • Salary up to £27,000 per annum
Responsibilities
  • Processing new starters and leavers including P45
  • Working as part of the payroll team in running the monthly payroll processing and generating any reports that may be required.
  • Using excel spreadsheets to produce reports
  • Issuing letters of overpayments
  • Managing the payroll team inbox
  • Speaking to employees in person and on the phone, dealing with queries.
  • To adapt and embrace any new systems that come in and learn new ways of working.
Any ad hoc administration duties required by the payroll department.You will need:
  • Experience working within payroll is desired
  • Experience within a strong administrative position
  • Basic Excel experience
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate Administration skills.
  • The ability to work within a small team and on your own
  • Maths knowledge.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • To be able to use a computer and Microsoft packages competently
