Job Description

* This role closes on 6th June 2021*The Learning & Organisation Team at DMU is growing creating an opportunity for an experience OD practitioner to join a team of internal OD Consultants!The Role

  • You will be supporting a programme to enable a constructive organisational culture at all levels at DMU. This will be achieved through leadership and management development, team effectiveness and performance excellence aligned to organisational strategy and values.
  • Scope, design, deliver and evaluate a range of organisational development interventions both institution wide and at a local level Faculties and Directorates. In addition to partnering and working collaboratively with stakeholders, this role will also allow you to be involved with the delivery of DMU’s internal coaching and mentoring services.

  • You will thrive on identifying and delivering sustainable and impactful OD solutions to enhance organisational performance. Having worked as an OD practitioner on a range of strategic programmes aligning you will attain organisational culture with individual, team and business effectiveness.
  • Recognising the importance of grounding your work in OD approaches and theory whilst ensuring solutions are tangible and practical for stakeholders at all levels, will be ideal in the role.
  • Successfully deliver multiple projects simultaneously and are skilled at managing all stages of the consultancy cycle.
  • Recognise the benefits of coaching and mentoring in organisations and have utilised them as part of development solutions.
  • Adapting your approach to your audience, from 1-1 conversations to large scale events utilising platforms such as MS Teams will be undertaken when required.
  • If you have been successful in being shortlisted you will be invited for an initial conversation via MS Teams with the Senior Learning and Organisational Development Consultant from 14th June.Further stages of the recruitment process will include preparing a written proposal in response to an OD request, a presentation of the proposed solution and a panel interview.
