Job Title: Network/Cabling EngineerSalary: £150-200 per day4-week contractLocation: Leicester (and UK wide)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Network/Cabling Engineer to join our Telecommunications industry clients team in Leicester (and UK wide). The successful candidate will be responsible for working on large projects, including festivals and TV productions . They shouldhave a strong knowledge of network/cabling technologies and be able to work with a variety of customers.Responsibilities:* Design, install, and maintain network cabling infrastructure * Troubleshoot network cabling issues and provide solutions * Monitor and respond to network performance issues * Develop and maintain network and cabling documentation * Work with customers to ensure network and cabling requirements are met * Perform network cabling tests to ensure network performance * Security installation experience- CCTV/Doorbells * Keep up to date with new network technologies * Maintain inventory of network and cabling equipmentTechnical Skills Required: * Strong knowledge of network/cabling technologies * Excellent troubleshooting skills * Ability to work with customers * Knowledge of network cabling test equipment * Ability to read and understand network diagrams * Knowledge of network performance tools * Ability to work in a team environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIn Technology Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
