Equipment include 360 wheeled Material Handlers, Loading Shovelsof various sizes, tele- trucks, fork-lift and other ancillary equipment. The MSO will be charged with using whatever equipment is necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the siteYou will also be required to transport organic waste via road to Wanlip and/ or transfer inert waste from the back end of the process to its storage bays using the onsite trailers.The Biffa division youll be supporting.Within Resources & Energy we focus on the treatment, recycling and disposal of waste. It provides a number of treatment services for those materials that can be recovered and landfill disposal for those that are not suitable for recyclingor energy recover.Why its an opportunity not to be wasted.

• Loading general waste into Shredder or other equipment
• Loading waste into HGV artics for removal from site using material handler or loading shovel
• Managing deliveries to site and offloading when required
• Managing waste stockpiles on site, including general waste, bulky waste, FLOC, Inerts, wood Etc
• Exchanging organic skips and transporting to Wanlip (Class 2 HGV Licence)
• General Maintenance and housekeeping activities
• Safe operation of vehicles and mobile plant.

• Carry out daily maintenance and record keeping for mobile plant.
• Carry out housekeeping activities in all areas of the site.
• Carrying out daily operations on site as directed by site management.
• Take due care for the safety of self and others in accordance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and toolbox talks.
• To carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the company may require.

RequirementsHeres what we require:Essential:

• LGV
• 360 + Loading Shovel
• Telehandler
• Forklift
• Understands relevant industry, transport, and health & safety legislation

• 3-years Process industry experience in an operational management role
• 3-years management of Environmental, Health and Safety, aspects of a Process Operation.
• Experience in Anaerobic Digestion / Waste Processing Environment.
• Full UK driving licence
• Able travel throughout the UK for business purposes
• Results and people-oriented

• Can influence, lead and persuade others
• Can deal with conflict and negotiate desired outcomes
• Analytical and has techniques for identifying and solving problems
• Highly numerate and literate, both in verbal and written forms
• Confident and credible presenter
• IT literate - comfortable using business software and systems
• Effective time manager and self-organiser
