This is a full-time, permanent role based in Leicester. You will be responsible for creating concepts and designs for retail solutions across a range of global brands. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 1-2 years in the industry.The Company Our client is one of the UKs strongest POS design and manufacturing companies, with a client base consisting of the biggest names in Health & Beauty. Their 120 strong team includes consumer insight, creative, design, artwork, technical, project management and production. They are housed in large industrial premises in Leicester and within their walls, they have created a vibrant, creative and relaxed working environment. Due to their success, they are thriving with a multitude of projects and are continuing to grow; therefore this is a very exciting time to join the team!The RoleAs Mid-Weight 3D Concept Designer, you will report to the Head of Design and work alongside Designers, Artworkers, Project Managers and Consumer Insight Specialists. You will take briefs from the senior team or account managers, evaluate the brief and apply design thinking to arrive at meaningful and relevant creative solutions. You will confidently be able to present your ideas to colleagues or clients, taking on board feedback and direction. ensuring they consider the brand, customer, marketplace and competitor landscape. Consumer insights will play a key role, you will research and gather insights that consider psychology and customer behaviours to inform your work.About YouYou have a minimum of 1-2 years in the industry in a 3D design role, with a portfolio showing concepts and designs for retail design and retail marketing. You have good experience of taking a concept through to the prototyping and development process with the manufacturing team. You are passionate about new trends and innovation and are always feeding from a broad range of stimuli and resources.
