INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITYONLINE MATHS TUTOR ROLENO MARKINGNO PLANNINGLocation: Anywhere in the UKHours of work: 23.75 hours per week, Term Time only (Maternity Cover starting January)3:30PM - 8:30PMPurpose of the Role:To deliver an outstanding level of tutoring to students online for both KS3, KS4 & KS5We are passionate about the future of our children and the privilege we hold in shaping their learning and potential - we expect you to be too!Responsibilities:Teaching and Managing Pupil Learning Identifying clear teaching objectives, content, lesson structures and sequences appropriate to the subject matter and the pupils being taught Setting appropriate and demanding expectations for pupils learning and motivation Setting clear targets for pupils learning, building on prior attainment and considering each pupil as an individual Ensuring effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained, and best use is made of teaching time Using teaching methods which keep pupils engaged, including stimulating pupils intellectual curiosity, effective questioning and response, clear presentation and good use of resources Setting high expectations for pupils behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive relationshipsMonitoring and Assessing Pupil Progress Marking and monitoring pupils class and homework providing constructive weekly feedback, setting targets for pupils progress Assessing how well learning objectives have been achieved and use this assessment for future teaching Maintaining full records of attendance, homework, attainment, achievement and examinations for pupils taught Daily interaction with students via our online TCS iON platform.Communication with Parents Providing informative reports to parents Liaising with staff to resolve customer queries Periodic parents eveningsOur values:The post holder will be expected to operate in line with our values which are: Collaboration Balance our Energies High Standards Compassionate Improve Lives Celebrate InnovativeTo be considered for the role:*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification* If no QTS, you must have extensive experience teaching Maths to secondary ages*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained*You must have the legal right to work in the UKFor more information about the role, contact Jess Frost on or email We look forward to hearing from you and helping take you on the next step of your teaching career.Tradewind Recruitment is a Sunday Times Top 100 employer - stopping at nothing to ensure our candidates, clients and employees come first.
