Please ensure you have the right to live and work in the UK before applying.Job title: Maintenance PersonLocation: Elizabeth House, Perth Avenue Leicester LE3 6QRRate Of Pay: £13 Per HourShift Patterns: 40hrs a Week, Full time, PermanentInformation about the Role:Working in General Maintenance Worker in Elizabeth House your duties will include the following:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
  • Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
  • Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Information about the Service:Our service at Elizabeth House provides a safe and stabilising environment for men and women who are in crisis, experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and requiring an emergency admission. Service users may be informal or detained under the MentalHealth Act. Our aim is to provide high quality holistic, MDT based care to assess, treat and plan discharge of patients to further treatment and care in the community, in their local areas as needed.Necessary Experience or Qualifications:Someone who has a real passion for maintenance and high-quality work.
  • Proven maintenance experience.
  • Must be a Driver with a Current and Valid Driving License.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to the work in the UK.
  • Good working knowledge of industry legislation and safe practices.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
