Job title : Maintenance EngineerSalary : £30-£35k p.aLocation : LeicesterHours of work : Standard working hours are 07.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday with a 15.00 finish on a Friday.RoleOur client is currently looking for Maintenance Engineer for a well-established engineering company based in Leicester. The maintenance department is managed by the Plant Manager and consists of a small team of staff encompassing all the trades, within itsown workshop.In addition to everyday repairs the department undertakes minor building works, improvements, and refurbishment throughout the factory, including improvements for health & safety. During Peak production, this is a relatively busy department and one withinwhich everyone is expected to have a flexible attitude to their work and be prepared to work as part of a multi-disciplined team, including extended hours in the event of plant failures etc.As some of the work may involve access to height and or confined spaces, appropriate training will be given where necessary including MEWPS.The responsibilities include:
