Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Shiftsc£42k neg dep exp + benefitsLeicesterOur client has been established for more than half a century and are recognised as market leaders in the manufacture of highest quality adhesive solutions for a range of clients and applications. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programmeof strategic growth, they are now actively seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to complement their established and professional team.Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, the successful Maintenance Engineer candidate will work on a rotating 3 shift basis of 8 hours (Monday to Friday) and will be tasked with ensuring that all PPM is completed as required within the business structurerequirements, whilst ensuring optimum levels of availability across all items of plant and equipment through efficient reactive breakdown and repair activities.Ensuring compliance to all relevant H&S and quality legislation as appropriate, you will work as part of a team committed to the highest levels of safety, plant availability and product quality - and the lowest possible levels of energy usage and waste,working on a range of end of line packaging equipment, and both semi and fully automated converting machinery as well as various other items of special purpose machinery and materials handling systems.In addition to PPM and reactive maintenance activities, you will also support the RCA process to feedback and progress issues with the maintenance department, and will liaise closely with the Production, Planning and Materials Management team to ensure thatplant is available when required and that best practices across the group are being maintained.To be considered for this Leicester based varied and challenging Maintenance Engineer role, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate relevant engineering qualifications to at least C&G level or above in both electrical and mechanicaldisciplines and at least 5 years experience gained within a busy manufacturing maintenance department. You will be multi skilled and possess demonstrable skills in the maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems but will also be skilled in bothidentifying and communicating risks (Service, Quality and Health & Safety)with the ability to recommend plans and actions to the Engineering Manager to mitigate them accordingly.With excellent problem solving and communication skills at all levels, you will support the Engineering Manager in identifying and sustaining continuous improvement across the department as a whole and provide guidance to junior members of the team whenrequired.Contact the Maintenance Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in the strictest confidence to for further details.
