We are now recruiting for Machine Operators to work at our site in Thurmaston, Leicester.We are recruiting operators who can work in our coating department for 12 hour shifts Week 1: 06:00am - 1800pm (Monday to Wednesday) 0600-1400pm (Thursday) Week 2: 1800pm - 0600am (Monday to Wednesday)A long weekend every week!We also have rotating shifts available 06:00-1400/1400-2200/2200-0600 Monday to FridayWhy work here Excellent overtime rates-time and a half for the first 8 hours worked all week and any additional hours DOUBLE time So for one 12 hour shift you will work overtime you will earn 20 hours pay! Work overtime in the week so you still get your weekends off Training on every machine Paid breaks On site canteen Free onsite parking On a regular bus route Free work wear Matched pension of 5% Health cash plan schemeThis role is up to £10.00per hour depending on experience and can lead to a perm opportunity after 12 weeks. Time and a third and double time is offered also.You will have some experience minding machines or running a CNC machine. This is a manual job where you have to concentrate to get the product right.Responsibilities: To operate selected machinery safely To consistently achieve production output targets Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials To complete all required departmental data recording on time Able to identify and communicate risks (Service, Quality, Health & Safety and Financial)There is full training on the job so its not all about previous experience it is also about attitude to work and wanting to learn a skill/trade.Key Attributes: Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the business Has a positive outlook and can do attitude Excellent interpersonal skills Able to work well in a team Able to use own initiative and look at better ways of working Punctual Uses own initiative to deal with day to day Able to lift, move tools, equipment, files and boxesIf you have worked in a machine minding role, CNC role or want to get into this type of work and want to progress and learn then apply today and one of our experienced consultants will call you to give you more information.
