We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician to work in Leicester as part of a team working Hours 8.15am - 16.45 pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 2pm Friday as the Laboratory Technician you will support the inspection and lab areas by carrying outmechanical testing checks to finished parts and inspection of machined parts to ensure highest quality standards are maintained at all times, reporting into the Process Engineer / Head of LabResponsibilities as the Laboratory TechnicianPreparation of laboratory samples - to include preparation and etching of mounted samplesInitial viewing of samples and parts in process - as requiredMachining of test barsMechanical testing of test bars & finished parts - tensile, fatigue, hardness - as requiredRecording of lab dataProduction of Lab Certification for finished partsTo be successful in the role of Laboratory Technician you MUSThave the two below points
