Junior Bookkeeper (Accounts Assistant) Permanent / Full Time £24,000 - £26,000SF Recruitment are working with a brilliant Family ran retail business based in Leicester. Our client is looking for a junior bookkeeper to join their small friendly team environment to assist with the day to day running of the accounts department. The rolereports directly to the company accountant and will be responsible for all accounts administration & prep. As a Bookkeeper, the role will involve working in a small team with the following responsibilities: - Accounts Payable - Credit Control - Preparation of daily payments - Bank reconciliations and preparation of cashbooks - Data entry - Preparation of VAT returns. - Assist with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts The ideal Junior Bookkeeper will be AAT Level 3 or above & have 3 or more years experience within a similar role.
