Job Description

Internal Sales Engineer Advantage Resourcing are looking for enthusiastic Internal Sales Engineer for a class leading company based in Leicester, that design and manufacture high power electrical resistors used in electricity generation, transmission and distribution as well as in the industrial automation, marine, telecoms and rail transit markets.The Internal Sales Engineer is a key member of the Sales team you will build close relationships with our customers in dealing with technical sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes and being able to source solutions to meet their needsResponsibilities:

  • Process customer enquiries from Initial customer contact.
  • Production and follow up of detailed and accurate quotations/tenders.
  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to new and existing customers.
  • Ensure orders are processed quickly and relevant information communicated to Design and Manufacturing departments.
  • Ensure clients informed of order status and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate sales information to aid projections and management information.
  • Pursue new business opportunities.
  • Support Contracts, Engineering and Production departments.
  • Build relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge RequiredEssential
  • Be HNC qualified in electrical engineering or an equivalent apprenticeship.
  • Have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Have a strong technical mindset and read, interpret technical data, then to disseminate to others.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Be self-motivated, organised, accurate and have an eye for detail.

  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering
