Humanities TeacherLocation: LeicestershireSalary: £110£200 per dayStart date: ASAPContract: Full timeAre you a Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity in LeicestershireThen why not join GSL Education Leicester. The school is partof Midland Academies Trust which has four secondary academies, providing a high quality education for over 3,000 young people each year.You will be responsible for planning and creating lesson plans in accordance with the National Curriculum and will ensure lessons are accessible to students of all abilitiesThe successful candidate will need to be passionate and devoted to delivering excellent learning and teaching experience for young pupils.To be considered for theHumanities Teacherrole, you must:

  • HaveQualified Status Teacher (QTS) through aPGCE, B.Ed. with QTSor equivalent.
  • Have experience in teachingHumanities.
  • Create and deliver lessons according to the National Curriculum
  • Regularly assess and review pupils progress and achievement
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills
  • Monitor, evaluate and intervene to ensure all students are working towards expected level
  • Develop and maintain a learning environment in line with the schools values
  • Have experience of working collaboratively within a team of people to provide a stimulating learning environment
  • Be in possession of achild only enhanced DBSon the Update service or be willing to process one through GSL.
