Job Description

Job Title: HGV TechnicianSalary: £36,000 - £38,000 DOE + OvertimeLocation: LeicesterAlecto Recruitment are working together with our client to find an Experienced HGV Technician.Fantastic New opportunity to be a part of one of the UKs biggest companies in their field as they continue to grow.shift patternMonday - Friday 6am - 2.30pm + 1.30PM - 10pm (Rota Sat morning)This is a Full-Time permanent position in the Leicester area.The responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repair of vehicle chassis and cab to VOSA requirements as well as MOT preparation and presentation
  • Maintenance and repair of waste handling equipment, including electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Vehicle fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ideally NVQ level 3 in HGV (not essential)
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within the HGV Technician role
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player
  • Work safely and maintaining company practice
