Job Description

The Company:A Compliance Manager is needed join a clothing manufacturer and supplier who specialise in licensed clothing for global brands.The Role:

  • Investigation of the Audit status for all supply partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring suppliers are fully compliant with ETI standards.
  • Making sure all factory audits are recorded and updated in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and record all maintenance/usage certificates records for all plant, machinery and electrical equipment.
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of all customer audits for the company and suppliers.
  • Advise all suppliers on audit requirements and ensure corrective action is carried out to the required standard.
  • Responsible for general building maintenance at Head Office.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of SEDEX website and entry of audit status onto customer websites where necessary.
  • Responsible for identifying new factory sourcing as directed.
  • Organising training for Fire Marshals and First Aiders.
  • Risk assessment and testing requirements on company equipment annually or as policy directs.
  • Responsible for the HSW induction of new employees.
  • Responsible for the installation of new items of equipment and furniture.
Skills Required:
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • GCSE in Maths/English.
  • Capable of reading and understanding complex documents compliance documents and policy.
  • Self starter.
