Job Description

We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.Intro: S Knights Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Generics Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor. The role will be delivering subject areas such as Business Admin, Customer Service and Team Leading apprenticeships.Our client operate nationwide providing a wide range of courses in Further Education such as Apprenticeships, Traineeships and other government funded provisions. They have been established for over 14 years and are growing their team of expert trainers.Role and Responsibilities:As a Generics Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting and motivating the learners to help them get closer to achieving their qualification
  • Ensuring the learners are gaining knowledge and skills to ensure completion of the programme
  • Involvement with paperwork such as enrolments, registers, assignments and other relevant compliance
  • Set up 1 to 1s with learners that need additional support or may be struggling with the programme
  • Manage your caseload of learners to ensure assignments are being completed to the standards of the organisation and in line with awarding body
Experience and Skills:The ideal Generics Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor will require the following experience:
  • Have an assessor qualification such as A1, CAVA, TAQA OR D32/D33
  • Qualified trainer, holding the PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience delivering accredited Business admin, customer service and team leading courses
  • Vocational experience working in admin, customer service or team leading roles
  • Experience delivering in further education and understanding the standards
