But, we promise to listenHow will you support us As a Financial Accountant Team Leader you will support the management and development of the General Ledger team for multiple Shared Service Centre clients, processes and systems, ensuring clients and customers receive reliable and accurate information on a timely basis, correctly reflecting the underlying performance of the businesses.On a day to day basis, you can expect to;

  • Work with and manage a selection of brands to look after their accounts
  • Ensure compliance with closing calendar; anticipate month-end processes to ensure smooth and efficient closing
  • Ensure effective reporting of issues/problems and follow-up on resolution
  • Responsibility for ensuring that the following General Ledger activities are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines for multiple clients:
  • Manage a team of 2 others - with full management responsibly

  • Strong accounting knowledge and principles
  • Be fully qualified with CIMA or ACCA
  • Good knowledge of accounting rules/legislations
  • Have some experience or at least interest to be a good team leader
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to manage own time and work load
