Job Description

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER / PLANT ENGINEER - OFF-HIGHWAY / YELLOW GOODS:LEICESTERCOMPETITIVE SALARYGrafton Recruitment are looking to recruit 5 Field Service Engineers for a market leading company that specialises in plant machinery. This is a customer facing role where you will travel to customer sites and assist with maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment. You will be expected to travel within a 250 mile radius of Leicester.THE ROLE:As a Field Service Engineer you will be required to:

  • Work closely with customers - provide technical support and resolve faults in a timely manner with a methodical approach
  • Diagnose faults and repair a variety of equipment including mini excavators, compressors, dumpers and small tools
  • Servicing and maintenance of existing equipment
  • Provide labour and parts estimates
  • Produce Field Service Reports after completing work at customer site
  • Promote aftermarket products
    • THE CANDIDATE:The ideal Field Service Engineer:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or a Maintenance Engineer who is seeking a field based career
  • Background in plant machinery e.g. Caterpillar/JCB
  • Natural fault-finding ability
  • CITB/NVQ Level 2
  • Full clean driving license
