This is a Permanent , Part Time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST .The VacancyThe VacancyJob Title: ENT Consultant – Head of ServiceACHE (Academy of Community Health Experts) is seeking Independent Clinical Contractors to deliver our clinical services in the community and currently have an ENT Consultant vacancy.About ACHEACHE deliver high quality healthcare withcommunity-basedcontracts, utilisinglocal and nationalclinical expertise. We offer the opportunity to develop new sources of income, work in partnership with the commercial sector and increase efficiency, all whilemaintaining the same quality, values and ethos as the NHS.The RoleACHE are seeking an experienced ENT consultant to join their team in Leicester.The role will include but not be limited to:

  • The delivery of onsite face to face clinical sessions within a community-based environment
  • The provision of assessment and management of a range of ENT conditions in adults – Otitis Externa, BPPV, Otalgia, Perforated TM, Epistaxis, Nasal obstruction, Allergic Rhinitis, Epley Manoevre etc.
  • Supporting GPs with extended roles (GPwER) in ENT. This will include teaching, mentoring and annual appraisal.
  • Participation in audit, research, and management of the elements of the service relevant to ENT.
  • Development clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time.
  • Clinical Governance
  • You will be able to work flexibly at your choice of GP surgery based locations
  • Flexible clinic times to suit you (Monday to Saturday)
  • Non clinical duties can be undertaken remotely and flexibly.
  • Dedicated admin team
  • GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT in ENT and on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Valid DBS within 12 months
  • Personal indemnity to fully cover all patient care delivered within this agreement
  • Date and evidence of last appraisal
  • Proof of current NHS/Private Employment
