Acorn by Synergie is proud to be working along side of the dedicated NHS teams based in Leicester and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for Domestic assistants based in Beaumont Leys - LE4. Working hours : 06:30 - 09:30, Monday to Friday with potential of additional hours. Rate of pay: Days - £10.42 per hourNights / Overtime - £14.69 per hourSaturday - £14.69 per hourSunday - £19.07 per hourIncrease in pay after 12 weeks completed. The Domestic Assistant is responsible for general cleaning duties and will be carried out in all areas including clinical, sanitary and administration areas, in accordance with the cleaning schedule. The post holder will ensure that Infection Control, COSHHand Health and Safety procedures are always followed. Procedures include but not limited to: * Ensure the correct use, cleaning and storage of cleaning equipment/ use of materials. * Dispose of all categories of waste safely and in accordance with Trust guidelines and ensure that equipment is stored correctly* Replenish all disposables, soaps, etc. as required. * Collect refuse and store at designed collection points. * Ensure the correct use of mechanical cleaning equipment including floor polisher. * Complete cleaning schedules on a daily basis* Report any infestation immediately to the appropriate ManagerA DBS is required for this role, therefore the successful candidate will be required to complete full NHS vetting.Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
