Job Description

The challenge for our leadership team is to is get us from here to there, continuing to strengthen our services and our organisation to manage our quality, performance and sustainability.Role: We are looking for an exceptional Director of People. Our workforce includes around 300 employees who work in many diverse roles and more than 400 volunteers who support every area of our work. Bringing considerable experience and a thorough understanding of HR and workforce development in a relevant sector, you will ensure that we have the right people working with us and that they have the right support and right skills to succeed. You will help shape and lead our plans and play a key role in supporting our Board of Trustees.Location: LeicesterSalary: £55,000 FTE (30 hours £44,605)Hours: Up to 30 hours per week - flexible with homeworkingYou will need:

  • CIPD level 7 or above or equivalent
  • Extensive experience of working in the health and care and/or voluntary sector
  • Senior level management, including experience of supporting Board-level governance
  • Commitment to inclusion and diversity and a believer in people and what they can achieve
  • Ability to network and form fruitful relations with diverse stakeholders
