Job Description

The Company:A talented Designer Account Manager with experience is needed to join a busy ladieswear supplier based in the East Midlands whose customers include Matalan/ Peacocks/ and TK Max. Looking for a designer with similar handwritingThe Role:

  • Designing and developing ladieswear.
  • Presenting ranges to customers.
  • Researching trends.
  • Producing seasonal mood boards.
  • Liaising with overseas factories.
  • Action comments made from meetings for final fit/styling amendments.
  • Ensuring all designs are interpreted correctly prior to production.
  • Regularly reviewing competitors.
  • Building and maintaining accounts.
  • Manage accounts from design to delivery.
  • Identifying relevant trends and translating them into products appropriate for customers.
Skills Required:
  • Similar handwriting too Matalan/ Peacocks/ and TK Max.
  • Proven account management/sales experience.
  • Ability to bring own accounts to the business.
  • Must have a ladieswear background.
  • Strong CAD, Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
  • Experience of working for a busy supplier to the high street.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable on trends with a strong commercial eye.
  • Ability to fully understand customer requirements.
  • Production of design specifications suitable for factories to understand.
