An opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer working with an industry leading manufacturer in Thurmaston, Leicester for an initial 6 months.The role will support a small, dynamic team working on a number of customer led concept designs and tailoring existing design to customer needs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Carrying out detailed design work using Solidworks* Actively input into potential new designs* Assist with solving customer service issues* Carry out internal building of prototypes including documentation* Carry out internal testing of prototypes including documentation
