Job Description

DATA INSIGHT ANALYST £30,000 - £40,000LEICESTER After a big data transformation this high growth retailer is looking for inquisitive analysts to come and ask the why! Do you want to see your insights cause a huge impact This is the role for you!THE COMPANYA retailer with a passion for data, recently gone through a large data restructure where they are now capable of using deep dive analytical techniques to affect how they use data and how they can interact with customers and build profit.THE ROLEAs a Data Insight Analyst, you will focus on using SQL and data visualisations to ask why, and dig into data providing solutions and growth opportunities throughout the brand, specifically you will:

  • Use SQL to dig into vast amounts of product, sales and financial data to find out why and provide solutions as to how to grow, change or enhance the business
  • Be a commercial thinker, how can the business save money and change process to be more efficient, work with very senior figures to highlight this and transform the business!
  • Have a focus on category, supplier and wider insight analytics, using deep dive techniques and creating stories with data!
YOUR SKILLSThe successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Confident in SQL
  • Good knowledge of a data visualisation software
  • Confident providing insights to high level senior stakeholders and conveying complex tech terms in digestible jargon
