Job Description

Our client is a leading supplier of quality clothing and accessories and have an impressive international customer base.An opportunity has arisen within their growing team, for an experienced credit controller.Within this role you will ensure the accuracy of customer accounts and that payments are made on time.General tasks:

  • Liaise with customer payment departments to ensure invoices have been received and are in process for timely remittance
  • Chase customer late payments
  • Post customer receipts on sales ledgers
  • Monitor debit notes and raise credit notes as and when required
  • Produce weekly aged debtor reports for all companies
  • Obtain credit insurance limits for new customers
  • Review/maintain customer credit limits at least once a year
  • Liaise with Credit Insurance brokers for insurance cover and debt reporting as necessary
  • Liaise with invoice factoring company regarding any direct customer payments
  • Liaise with Purchase Ledger/Payments to notify 3rd way customer receipts
  • Raise sales invoices/credit notes as and when required (back up resource)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, and be competent in working with Microsoft Office. ERP system (Dynamics 365) would also be an advantage, but not essential as training is available.In return you can expect a competitive salary, pension, onsite parking and a bright, modern working environment.
