Job Description

Case Manager/Collections Team Manager sought by leading financial services organisation based in Leicester.**PAYE ONLY**Case Manager to operate as a Collections Team Leader, who has experience working a fast paced collections environment within the banking space.As a Team Leader, you will be expected to manage performance opportunities within the team/function by diagnosing any performance gaps in the quality of work produced and implementing improvement plans to capitalise on that opportunity to enhance performance.The Collections Team Leader will be expected to do the following:

  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of Collection Support Managers in a busy telephony department supporting customers in financial difficulty.
  • Drive a culture of customer service excellence ensuring all team members have the necessary skills needed to provide appropriate solutions and drive fair outcomes to customers in financial difficulty supporting team members and allow them to exercise judgement and critical thinking to make decisions encouraging a right first time approach
  • Support every individual in your team on their personal development journey encouraging them to reach their full potential and guiding them to the tools available
  • The preferred candidate will also be expected to:
  • Work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to perceive new and better ways of working
  • Help to drive the use of Agile methodologies to help the organisation become more agile
  • Recommend areas for change and then provide support to the business as the changes develop to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with all parts of the business including 3rd parties
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Broad knowledge of the complexity of CMB customers including the differences between
  • Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Guarantors and the different regulatory obligations when lending to these Businesses e.g. CCA and CONC.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent coaching and motivational skills
  • A good understanding of commercial banking
  • Strong collections knowledge and/or previous team leader experience
