DC Personnel are recruiting for CNC Operators to join an established company experiencing a sustained period of growth. All roles are temporary to permanent following a successful probationary period with the company.CNC Machine Operator (day shift) HOURS :7:30am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday & Friday 7:30-12:30pm 39 hours paid weekly with overtime availableor 7:00am - 4pm Monday-Thursday & Friday 7am-12pm 39 hours paid weekly with overtime availablePAY :£9.50 - £10.50 per hour (dependant on experience)THE COMPANY:This company is one of the largest engineering companies in the UK providing machining solutions to a number of different industries. They have several different subsidiary businesses and work with some of the most innovative designs in their respective industries.THE ROLE:The role is to work as a CNC Machine Operator on a day shift following chosen shift pattern. You will be working on Mazak CNC Milling machines which are used in the manufacture of aluminum castings. These castings are then used for power generation in industriessuch as Rail, HGV, Construction and Marine. The role is a hands-on role where all you initially need is a good attitude to work. You will be working on CNC Milling machines where you will be loading, unloading, deburring, Inspecting, pressure testing completedparts, keeping accurate production records, and occasional tool changes. As a new starter, you will buddied with a more experienced colleague for 1 week until you are competent is the use of the respective machine.THE PERSON:To be considered for the role, you need to have an engineering background and be happy to work in a Factory/ Industrial environment. Full training will be given to people who demonstrate at interview a good work ethic and the ability to learn.
