CNC Mill TurnerWe have 2 new vacancies within our CNC Mill Turn Department and are currently recruiting for the roles of Setter/Operator - CNC Mill Turner.CNC Mill Turner Responsibilities:You will produce precision machined components to customer and quality specified tolerances using best practise modern methods. To contribute to the team and help to develop and maintain best practices. Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures. Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation. Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets. Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures. Working as a team to maximise machine utilisation Working to structured manufacturing plan Responsible for setting and operating 5 Axis Mill Turn machines Responsible for quality output Responsible for Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) Capable of using measuring equipment such as micro meters, Vernier Callipers, Height Towers, Shadow Graphs, CMM etc. To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.CNC Mill Turner Requirements: 5 years experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role Apprentice trainedPreferred or Demonstrated relevant experience Working to production time lines in a manufacturing environment Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance Mature, credible and comfortable om dealing with various stakeholders Reliable, tolerant and determined Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other persons point of view Open to new experiences, responsibility and accountability Able to get on with others and be a team-player Attention to detail and accuracy at all times Working to deadlines Professional approach to dealing with queries internally/externally Excellent communication skills Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary An understanding and alignment to our Bromford Values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and excellence.If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the HR Department.About Bromford Industries:Bromford Industries is a privately-owned enterprise trading on a global basis, supplying precision machined components, fabrications and assemblies to leading OEMs in the aerospace, defence, marine, power generation and nuclear markets, demonstrating an impressivehealth and safety culture.Location: Leicester LE3 1UQContract Type: PermanentHours: Full Time, 46.40 hrs per week.
