Job Description

We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Charity Shop Assistant Managers to join our team in our shops based in Oakham, Shepshed, Rothley and Syston.In this role you will;

  • Maximise sales of donated goods to achieve targets.
  • Support and manage volunteers.
  • Assist sourcing, sorting, pricing, merchandising and display of donated goods.
  • Ensure all shop administration is completed.
This is a casual role to be worked flexibly Tuesday - Saturday (hours available and shops you would like to work in can be discussed at interview)The successful candidate will have experience of working in a retail environment, with experience and understanding of working towards sales and profit targets. Experience of working within the charity sector and managing volunteers is desirable but notessential.We are looking for someone with great skills in communications and customer service, with ambition, drive and enthusiasm.Working for Vista means you will be working for one of the oldest and largest local charities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, working with people with sight loss and their families.We welcome applications from all candidates, regardless of any protected characteristic and are an equal opportunity employer.
