Job Description

We are looking for part-time Care Assistants & Companions in the Leicester area. No experience is necessary as excellent socially distanced training is provided. It is essential that you are a car driver and have access to a vehicle.   • £10.00 - £10.50 per hour plus 22p - 45p per mile mileage allowance.
  • You must have some availability early mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings, and a couple of hours on a weekend.

    • The Employer & Job roleYou would be joining an award-winning employer rated "Good" by the CQC and voted a 5* employer. They are looking for naturally caring people to join their team on a part-time basis. The owners of this award-winning care company are a husband and wife team who had a change of career after one of the Director’s parents experienced a poor level of care. You will be visiting older adults in their own homes and providing much needed companionship and support. You would not only be helping to combat loneliness but also helping someone with everyday tasks within their homes. This would be for a minimum of one hour, ensuring that the support provided is never rushed and always tailored to the individual’s needs.As a Care Assistant & Companion, you will be carefully matched to older adults in your local area and you will support them to remain independent both in their own home and by keeping them active in the local community. You will always see the same clients too. The role would include:
  • Helping someone get out of bed, washed/showered, dressed and other elements of personal care.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Remind them to take their medication.
  • Help with light housework, laundry, vacuuming, ironing, or a spot of gardening
  • Help with grocery shopping.
  • Be a listening ear and to treat them with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.
