Job Description

We are looking for part-time Care Assistants & Companions in the West Leicestershire area. No experience is necessary as excellent socially distanced training is provided. It is essential that you are a car driver and have access to a vehicle.

  • £10.00 - £10.50 per hour plus 22p - 45p per mile mileage allowance.
  • You must have some availability early mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings, and a couple of hours on a weekend.

They also truly value their brilliant team, they have been voted a 5* employer and during lockdown held virtual quizzes for everyone to enjoy, keep morale high and to let them know they were being thought of.Job RoleYou will do a minimum of 1 hour visits and you will be carefully matched to older adults in your local area and you will support them to remain independent both in their own home and by keeping them active in the local community. This would include:
  • Helping someone get out of bed, washed/showered, dressed and other elements of personal care.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Remind them to take their medication.
  • Help with light housework, laundry, vacuuming, ironing, or a spot of gardening
  • Help with grocery shopping.
  • Be a listening ear and to treat them with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.
