Job Description

Job Title: BuyerSalary: 25-30kLocation: LeicesterStart Date: ASAPHours: 08:30 - 17:00One of the leading independent manufacturers with over 50 years experience are looking to bring in a Buyer to join their already successful team. This company who has seen tremendous growth in the past few years turning from a small company to over 250people currently employed. Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking for growth, as they are looking for an individual who is looking to progress with this business.The role:

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and support their procurement requirements
  • Deal with indirect spend
  • Manage our current supplier base to improve performance
  • Source and appraise alternative vendors to support overall business operations
  • Maintain supplier price lists and negotiate or mitigate any commercial changes
  • Work out cost savings
The person:
  • Must have previous direct or indirect purchasing experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers
  • Must be willing to learn and be able to work in a team
  • Must be ambitious and wants to progress within the company
