Job Description

BIM Technician required to join a leading interior specialist dedicated to creating innovative and captivating interior spaces. They specialise in delivering high-quality designs that merge functionality with aesthetics, catering to a diverse clientele acrossvarious industries. As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking a skilled BIM Technician to join their dynamic team.BIM Technician Position Remuneration

  • Starting salary £36,000 - £42,000 (dependant on experience)

BIM Technician Position Overview
  • Develop precise 3D models of interior designs using BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate architectural and engineering plans into BIM models.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM models by reviewing and validating design information.
  • Generate construction drawings, documentation, and schedules based on BIM models.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and discrepancies in design information.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards and best practices.
BIM Technician Position Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a BIM Technician or similar role in an interior design, architecture, or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
